Desiccator (Plain)
Plain desiccators are physically identical to Vaccum desiccators. The only difference is the absence of the stop cock. Grease should be added to the flanges to make them air tight. Both vacuums and plan desiccators come with a thick perforated polypropylene disk with a large hole in the center for easy lifting. The disc’s small perforations serve as air troughs and supports for the dishes. However, porcelain discs are recommended for use with incandescent crucibles.
Material: Polypropylene/Polycarbonate
