Desiccator (Vacuum)

Polycon Labware desiccators are constructed of polypropylene and polycarbonate. These autoclable vacuum desiccators can hold vacuum up to 740 mm Hg for 24 hours without requiring any lubrication. The top dome, made of sturdy and transparent polycarbonate, provides a clear view of the desiccant placed inside. The dome is easy to handle because to the knurled knob on top. The lower section is constructed of polypropylene. The flange includes an inside groove for holding a silicon rubber O-Ring. The polypropylene stopcock is equipped with a self-lubricating PTFE plug. This plug functions in three ways: vacuum creation, shutting off, and vacuum release.
