Kipps's Apparatus

Polycon labware Kipp’s Apparatus is built of polyethylene and includes three basic components. The top portion has a thistle funnel and a bulb structure through which weak acid can be poured, which interacts with a metal Sulphide in the apparatus’s base. H2S gas is then collected in the middle dome and discharged via a leakproof stopcock equipped with a self-lubricating PTEE stopper. The base features a residual outlet with a cover for easy cleaning.
